Confirming the worst kept secret in Australian telecommunications, a joint venture between Optus and Elders (OPEL) has announced it has won $958M in Government funding to help build a regional broadband network. |

Hey guys, as you may have noticed I have not added any more new hotspot locations to the list although I do have an updated wireless hotspot locations list for New Zealand to upload as some more have been added in. Will attempt to get that up this weekend providing I can move house and do that at the same time.

Hey guys I have finally managed to collect the New Zealand Telecom hotspot lists and form it into something that can be produced on the site. As you should be able to see I have included wireless hotspots from the top of the north island to the bottom of the south island. I am still looking to find additional wireless hotspots in new zealand so if you know of one please feel free to add it to the site and help develop the list.
More news I am currently developing a list of all wireless internet providers around australia and new zealand so that you can sort through all the plans and find the best one that suits you. For now enjoy the what I have here so far and by all means feel free to add your own comments to help out.

Well guys I've been busy compiling a list of hotspot locations around aus and I have finally got the first lot compiled and added in. I have added some 1388 locations provided by Telstra and Azure so check them out for pricing. Am currently in negotiations to obtain some more so with a bit of luck they will be in by the end of the week.
All you New Zealanders don't worry I have started on a list for you also but its a bit harder to manipulate (read lots of manual work) so its going to take a bit longer. Thats all for now the cricket is on and its getting exciting so enjoy and let me know if you find a mistake.
